Annual Report Design

We recently finished the design for an annual report for Loma Linda University Medical Center. We've done their annual report for the last several years and it's always a really fun project. I love the opportunity to work on a project like this from start to finish, being involved in everything from the concepts to photo shoots to press checks.

The theme for this report was HOPE, namely the hope that the medical center can bring it's patients. We found various ways to translate this theme into the design. One of the primary ways we did this was to incorporate the sun into many of the photos. The sun combined with the vibrant color palette gives an uplifting feel to the entire piece.

Overall it was a fantastic project and I feel lucky to work with such great clients. I hope you'll take a minute to view our portfolio and images of the annual report design.

Platinum Hermes Award Win

I'm excited to announce that we've won another award for our LLUMC Annual Report design. We won the top award, platinum, from the Hermes Creative Awards. This was a new competition for us so it's very satisfying to win such a high honor the first time around.

The Hermes Creative Awards is an international competition for creative professionals. The awards are judged by the Association of Marketing and Communication Professionals. You can read more about them and see the entire list of winners at their website.

Adam Lee Design Wins Gold and Silver at the 2009 Inland Empire ADDY Awards

The winners of the 2009 Inland Empire ADDY awards were announced on Friday night and we came away with a couple of awards.

We took the Gold award for a set of posters we designed for Loma Linda University Children's Hospital. The posters were for an event that featured olympic athletes and were a very fun project to work on. I blogged about the posters back in November and you can see a few of them in that post.

Our Silver award was for last year's annual report design for Loma Linda University Medical Center. This was a great team effort involving an AE and writer from LLUMC as well as a photographer that took some amazing photos. The annual report will be up in our portfolio soon.

The ADDY Awards is an annual competition conducted by the American Advertising Federation. The awards honor excellence in advertising, graphic design, web design and in the elements of advertising, illustration and photography.
